April did as Anthony told her and played both of the C chords. She smiled as she was learning how to play. Then after he explained when they would add the flats and sharps, April suddenly remembered she had a big report to do and it was probably going to take up the rest of her time today. She stood up quickly and somehow managed not to fall flat on her face.
"I'm sorry Anthony, I need to go. I have a big report for Defense Against the Dark Arts due tomorrow," she said hoping he'd be understanding of her excuse even though she didn't want to leave. "How about we meet up sometime later to finish our lesson? We could discuss it at dinner tonight," she said to him.

"Alright," Anthony said with a nod. "I will see you at dinner then."
Anthony watched as April got up and left the room. He really didn't want to see her leave. He loved being around her, though, Alison was probably going to kill him for falling for her best friend. Oh well, it didn't matter. All that mattered was if April felt the same way about him.
-Dinner-
It was soon time for dinner and Anthony made his way to the Great Hall. Once he was there he walked inside and looked around for April. He walked alongside of the Gryffindor table, trying to find her, but having no luck at all. Oh well, maybe she was just a little late. Anthony took a seat where there was an empty seat next to him and waited.

April smiled as she left the room. She didn't know what had just happened. It felt so strange what had a occured. Why did she feel like her heart was fixing to come out of her chest. But she didn't have time to think about it. She needed to get started so she's at least have some of her report done for DADA before dinner. April ran all the way to the common room and sat on one of the couches scribbling as fast as she could on a piece of parchement. She looked up at the clock and April suddenly realized it was time for dinner.
-Dinner-
She quickly put away her homework and made her way down the corridors and the grandstair case. April opened the doors of the Great Hall and looked around for Anthony. He was sitting on the end of the Gryffindor table with an empty seat next to him. She grinned and then walked toward him. "Hello, fancy meeting you here," she laughed. She sat down and then grabbed a plate and her goblet. "Sorry I'm late, I lost track of time. I was really trying to get as much of my report done as I possibly could. Not much left," she said. "In fact I need to get a book from the libraby to help me with the rest if it. Mind going with me?" she asked nervously.
((My beautiful, awesome post!))

Anthony had been sittign at the table for about ten minutes before he head a familiar voice coming from beside him. He turned to the side and noticed April sit next to him. He flashed her a smile as he picked up the pitcher of Pumpkin joice and filled her cup and then his. He took a small sip of his own before he spoke.
"Glad you got most of it done," Anthony said with a smile. "Oh, and don't worry about being late. It wasn't like I have been here waiting for an hour or anythng. I have only been here for ten minutes."
Anthony smiled and started to fill his plate up with the foods that were on the table before him. He then picked up his fork and stuck it into a peice of potatoe and ate it. The food tasted wonderful as usual.
"So what class do you have the essay for?" He asked then nodded. "Sure, I will come with you to the library."

April's heart gave a tiny squeeze whenever he flashed her a smile. She smiled back glad that he understood. She took a sip after he had filled her cup. "Thank you," she said politely. April started putting things on her plate and then started eating the roasted lamb. At Hogwarts you ate like a king everyday.
She finished what she was eating before answering Anthony. "It for Defense Against the Dark Arts or DADA as I like to call it, makes it easier to say," she laughed. It was true though. Saying Defense Against the Dark Arts was a mouthful sometimes.
April was excited when Anthony said he would accompany her to the libraby, she had to keep in her seat from jumping around like a little kid. Which would have made he look immature and childish. "Great, now I can do my homework and talk to you at the same time," she smiled.

"Ah DADA," Anthony said as he nodded. He liked that class, but he didn't care for all the work. "So you are working on the werewolf assignment?"
Soon Anthony was done eating and he looked over at April to see if she was done. When noticed that she was he gave her another smile. He loved looking at her beautiful face. She was just so wonderful and he couldn't believe that he had met her. He had heard so many wonderful things about her from Alison, but never had he thought that she was this wonderful.
"Well, shall we go to the library?" He asked as he stood up.
They were soon making their way out of the Great Hall when Anthony saw his sister standing in the middle of the doorway. Her arms were crossed so Anthony walked up to her and put his hands on her elbows, giving her a smile.
"Where are you going with April?" she asked as she looked at him before she turned to April. "You better not be falling for my dumb brother's smile."

"Yes actually, it's very difficult because we are having to give very specific details," she said with a sigh. "Oh well, I look at it like a challenge to test myself," she said. April was smart, but this report was hard even for her. She was suprised that no one had already ask her to help them with it as someone usually did.
Her plate and cup had vanished as she had finished eating and drinking it. She was more than ready to go. She stood up next to him and smiled. "Yes, I'm ready to go."
As they were leaving, Alison, her best friend and Anthony's sister came walking in. 'Oh no' April thought. she knew Alison would say something to both of them. She didn't even want to think what was going to happen next. April blushed whenever she said that she shouldn't fall for Anthony's smile. Which might have already been too late. Would Alison be mad if they were starting to like each other? April would just have to wait and see what Anthony was going to say to his sister.

"Alison it is none of your business," Anthony said as he looked at his sister. He knew that she was just trying to protect her friend, but there was no need for it. It wasn't like Anthony would hurt April.
"No, it is my business if you are hanging out with my best friend," Alison said as she glared at her brother. "I don't want you to hurt April. She is my best friend and I don't want to have to pick up the peices when you hurt her."
"Nothing like that will happen sis," Anthony said as he shook his head. "Besides, we are just going to the library so April can finish up her essay for DADA."
He really cared about April more than his sister could ever know. He would not hurt her for anything in the world. He wasn't even sure if he really liked her liek that. He though he did, but it was hard for him to tell. Only time woudl tell. Time was the only thing that was able to tell you how you really felt about someone.

She nodded. "Don't worry about it Alison," she said putting a hand on her shoulder. "I just want to get to know him, I mean how could I not ever know my best friend's brother? It's just the libraby" she said hoping that her words would make Alison feel better. She knew deep down Alison probably thought if they were to hang out they would ignore her. April would never do that to her though or any of her friends.
Besides april wasn't even sure if he liked her that way, it was too soon to tell if there was something there or not. They would have to spend time with each other and then something would reveal itself sooner or later. April was hoping on sooner though. In the short time she had known him, it felt like something she had never experienced before. she waited nervously for both of them to finish, hoping it wouldn't turn in to an argument.

Alison gaver her brother a look then looked at April and soon sighed as she gave in. Seh knew that Anthony wouldn't do anything to hurt April, she just...well...she just didn't want anything to happen between them. She didn't want to end up being the third wheel like she usually did when Anthony dated her friends.
"Fine, go," she said as she stepped out of the way.
"Thanks sis," Anthony said as he quickly hugged his sister then left the Great Hall.
With April in towe he walked up the Grand Staircase steps and all the stairs that lead then to the second floor where the lover library was located. When they reached it Anthony pushed open the door and held it open for April. Once April walked past him he walked inside and followed April where she went.

April thought it was sweet of Anthony to be such a gentlemen and hold the door open for her. She gave him a small smile and then walked toward the back of the libraby. There were alot of books about werewolves in that section. It was perfect. She grabbed as many books as she could carry and then set them all down onto the nearest table. She picked out the one's she thought would be most helpful and set them aside for later.
She took a seat and Madame Prince came over to make sure that April hadn't grabbed to many books. But she still gave April a look as if to say... 'Tsk. Now I'm going to have to put those all away.' Which wasn't true because April always cleaned up her messes. "I thought she was going to say something to me for a moment," April whispered to Anthony as Madame Prince turned the corner. She gave a small laugh and then back to her books. She couldn't believe she was getting to spend time with Anthony once again. She was happy.

Anthony followed April to the back of the library and took some of the books she picked out off the shelves. When she was finished getting books he took them back to the table that she had walked over to and set them down, smiling at April. He couldn't believe that he was going to be able to spend all this time alone with her. It was going to be wonderful.
Soon Madame Prince walked up and gave April a look. He watched as she then turned and started to walk off in the other direction. When she turned the corner Anthony chuckled and smiled at April's comment, nodding.
"She probably was going to say something, but decided against it," he said as he walked over to her and pulled out her chair so he could sit. Once she sat he pushed the chair under her then took his own seat next to her. He then pulled over one of the books and opened it up, searching for the part about werewolves.

April nodded. She wouldn't have doubted that for a minute. "I wonder why she's so uptight about her books," she laughed. They could have made up so many reasons why, but that would have been mean. She went back to flipping the pages of the book she was using for research and so far she found nothing that would help. April sighed. This was going to take ages. As long as she had Anthony it wouldn't feel that way though. She smiled and then spoke. "I really appreciate you coming here with me," she said with a blush.
"Your nicer than most guys I know," she admitted. She stopped before she could say anymore defenseless confessions. April felt like an idiot telling him that. Why would he even care. She looked down and tried to not to look at Anthony. She was so embarassed right now. If Alison were here she would be laughing at her which wouldn't help her situtation at all.

"Yeah I wonder," Anthony said as he looked over at April.
He was sure there had to be some reason why the librarian was like that. Maybe one time in the past a student left tons of books out and they all got ruined somehow. Okay, that sounded stupid, but who knows. There were so many things that could of happened and he and April would have no clue to what the true reason was. That was a fact that Anthony would have to live with.
"It's no problem at all," Anthony said with a smile. "Am I?"
Anthony smiled more at that. He knew he was nicer than most guys in the school. but it was something about the way that she said it that made him feel shivers going down his spine. It was wonderful. He was beginning to really like April. She was a smart girl and she was pretty and he just loved hanging out with her.

"Yes, I really do. You don't show-off or act rudely toward girls," she said looking away now. She couldn't believe they had gotten into this conversatition. April was really beginning to get embarassed. They should have been more focused on her essay which she really needed to get done, but how could she with Anthony sitting right next to her. All she wanted to do was to lean over and...no April needed to be focused. "Uhh, soo find anything helpful yet?" she asked nicely trying to push the thought of them touching lips. Which wasn't likely to happen anytime soon anyways.
April knew the answer to her own question, they had just sat down so how would he been able to find anything yet. She continued to flip through the pages of the book, her eyes scanning the paragraphs quickly, instead of actually reading them. This was such a difficult report. She sighed, already feeling the pressure of having to do this. all she really wanted to do was go outside and sit on the grass and maybe spend time with Anthony.
