Tyler turned around as if he was modeling the clothes that he changed into for her. He smiled as he stopped turning and faced her. He glanced at her and raised and eyebrow. Had she changed clothes? He didn't rmember seeing her in those just moments before. Tyler shrugged the thought off as he stepped past her.
"Then let's go you slow poke," Tyler said as he glanced back at Rain.
Tyler walked over to the Common Room door and pushed it open, holding it open for Rain. When she had passed he stepped out and let the door close behind him. Once the door was closed the gargoyle jumped back into place. Thler walked up the stone steps of the dungeon and smiled when they reached the Enterance Hall. It was late at night and all students were supposed to be in bed.
"You coming love?" Tyler started as he started walking again.
Tyler soon came to the enterance of the kitchens and tickled the pear in the picture. The pear giggled and the picture opened to expose the hole to the kitchens. Tyler stepped through the opening and walked down to the kitchens. As soon as he and Rain entered the kitchen they were ambushed by house elves asking what they wanted to eat and drink.
"What to you say that we get a picnic basket full of food then take it back to the Common Room and eat it there?" Tyler asked as he looked over at Rain.

Rain looked up at Tyler hoping he didn't realize that she had changed in the amount of time that he had went to change. She felt more relaxed in the clothes that she wore at the moment. She bit her lip, before she looked down at the ground.
When she looked up he was already past her. She rolled her eyes gently and went over to him. "I'm not a slow poke. I'm just thinking." she replied
When the went over to the common room door, she stepped outside when he held it open for her and waited for him to get through. Rain watched as Tyler stepped through, closed the door and the gargoyle went back to its place. She smiled softly, before she followed Tyler up the stone stairs and to the entrance hall. She knew it was way past bed time, but being a slytherin, she didn't care.
Rain looked around, not knowing how it was, when it was empty, and smiled in amazement, before she ran up to catch up to him. "Yes," was all she said.
They came upon the pear which you where supposed to tickle. She let Tyler handle this as she stood behind him. When the door opened both of them stepped inside, and soon where ambushed by the house elves. Her eyes widened at all the house elves.
Rain looked up at Tyler as he spoke. "A picnic sounds really nice right now. Oh and there has to be desert" she replied and smiled brightly.

"A picnic it is then," Tyler said as he nodded then looked back at the house elves. "You heard the pretty lady. A picnic basket filled with everything good and lots of dessert."
"Yes sir," a house elf said and scurried off to fix everything to go in the picnic basket.
Tyler watched as they house elves all ran around putting things in a picnic basket. They moved very fast for such small creatures. They put all kinds of delicious foods into the picnic basket. It all smelled great. They were soon done filling upthe picnic basket and three house elves came back to Tyler carrying the basket.
"Here you go sir," one said as Tyler reached down and took the basket from them.
"Lead the way Rain," Tyler said as he motioned for them to leave.

Rain smiled softly as she saw all the house elves work. They did move very fast for small creatures. She watched as they put a variety of food in the basket. She wondered if Rain would be the only one eating all this great food, or if Tyler will join her.
Rain looked down as they finished with the basket and gave it to Tyler. "Thank you very much" she told the house elves, and then turned and made her way out of the kitchen, and held the door open for Tyler this time. When they where through, she made her way through the entrance hall and to the gargoyles.
Rain said the password in Tyler had caught up and stepped inside when the door opened. She waited for Tyler before she would sit down, or anything.

Tyler nodded a thank you to the house elves and turned to follow Rain. That was just one thing that Tyler did not say. He had never really said thank you before and he wasn't about to start. It must have been a male Slytherin thing. All the Slytherin guys that he knew didn't say thank you either.
When Tyler reached the Common Room he walked inside and went over to the floor in front of the fireplace. He sat down on the floor and set the picnic basket in front of him. He opened it up and started to take the food out.
"Wow, they fit a lot of stuff in here," Tyler said as he looked at all the food he had taken out. He had left the dessert in the basket as a surprise. "Well you going to help me eat all this?"
Tyler looked at Rain and smiled. He hadn't really eaten anythign on hsi date with the blonde. He just sat there and listened to her talk about herself and her nails, trying to look interested.

Rain had noticed that he hadn't said thank you, but at least he acknowledged it. She let out a soft giggle, before she looked around. Everyone should be asleep. She figured they would be fine with what they where doing.
When Tyler went to sit down, she walked over to a chair and took her robe off and sighed softly. "This thing is definitely way to much" she whispered, before she went and sat down near the food and the fire.
"This sure is a lot of food. What if they thought we where feeding a whole group?" she asked and let out a soft giggle, before she looked over at Tyler. "Thank you for doing this for me."
"Hey Tyler...can you tell me about your date with the blond?" she asked softly and looked up at Tyler, before she lowered her eyes to the food, afraid of what his reaction might be. She was slightly curious.

"They tend to always give everyone a lot of food. They are really kind in that way," Tyler said as he looked over at Rain. She looked beautiful in that blouse and skirt.
"My date with the blonde?" Tyler asked as he started to fix them each a plate. "To tell you the truth it was as boring as ever. All she did was talk about herself and her nails. Things like that. Oh, and her hair. can't forget that one. It was pretty dull. I had a hard time staying awake."
Tyler nodded as he thoguht about the date. it was probably the worst date that he had been on in a long time. He sighed as he looked around at all the food. There defiantely was an awful lot of food. They didn't have anythgin to drink though.
"Hang on," Tyler said as he stood up. "I need to get something."
Tyler walked over to his dorm and grabbed soemthign out of his trunk quickly. He then turned and come back to where Rain was sitting with a bottle of fire whiskey in his hand and two glasses. He sat down and looked back at Rain.
"Care for a drink?" he asked smiling.

"They are very kind that way. Now my stomach will be very happy" she replied happily as she looked at the plates that he had prepared for the both of them. It made her stomach grumble just by looking at them.
"So I guess you can go by appearance then, if she was that boring. Maybe you should have asked someone...more exciting" she replied softly as she looked down. She almost meant herself, but she didn't let up on it.
Rain looked around and saw that they didn't get anything to drink. She was about to say something, but Tyler had left and she sighed. She hoped it would be to go get something to drink. She didn't want to get the hiccups.
When he came down, she shook her head. "Tyler thats a great idea. Fire Whiskey with this food, wonderful" she smiled softly, as she looked over at him.

"No, I guess I can't go by appearance. Though, I was just wanting to go out on a date with someone pretty, not someone exciting," Tyler said with a small nod. He knew he sounded conceited, but he really didn't care. That was just how he was.
"I thought so," Tyler said as he poured two glasses of the fire whiskey and handed one to Rain. "I thought that we needed something to drink and what better than fire whiskey. It is a good thing I keep a stash of this stuff."
Tyler took his glass and took a long sip of the fire whiskey. It felt wonderful as it burnt al the way down his throat. Fire whiskey was one of his favorite things to drink, well besides all the other alcoholic drinks that he drank. As long as it was banned from school he loved to drink it.
"So, Rain," Tyler siad as he looked at her and picked up his plate. He stuck his fork in a peice of meat and smiled. "Have you changed your mind on what I asked you earlier?"

"No you shouldn't go by appearance, but I can't really stop you can I? Or even change you...so what am I doing complaining?" she asked herself the last part before she sighed. This was like her first ever date. She had never been on a date. Or maybe this wasn't a date, but some...friendly gathering. She shrugged slightly, and sighed.
When he poured the Fire Whiskey she smiled softly. She hadn't had this stuff in such a long time, she almost missed it. She took the glass from him, and took a small sip. She felt the fiery drink burn as it went down her throat. She smiled brightly. Just what she needed.
"You know, this was my first alcohol drink that i ever drank. I fell in love with it after I tried it. She wasn't crazy about the other stuff, but this was her favorite ever. She took another sip, before she placed it down and looked down at her plate.
She picked up the plate and placed her fork in some cheese that he had placed on her plate and ate a piece of cheese as she listened. "Well I have been thinking about it...but to answer you question...i have not changed my mind" she replied softly.

"Nope it is impossible to change me," Tyler said with a nod as he took the piece of meat that was on his fork and ate it.
Many girls had tried to change Tyler Vincent, but, obviously, none of them had ever seceded. They had tried to make him change his ways, but they had just ended up crashing and burning in the process. Tyler was just one of those guys that you couldn't force to change. if he wanted to change then he would, but good luck on that one.
"It's the first thing I ever drank too," Tyler said as he took another sip of the drink. "It's one of my favorites. Actually, anything that is banned from the school is a favorite of mine."
Tyler listened to Rain as she talked about his offer. So she didn't want to take him up on it? Wow, that was a surprise. Usually most girls would be dieing to take him up on an offer such as that. There weren't many girls that Tyler offered such a thing to as that.
"What a shame," Tyler said as he took a bite of food. "In time you will change your mind."

"Yes I know, no one would be able to change you. I'm pretty sure I probably couldn't change you. I'm not that important anyways, so who would change for a girl like me?" she asked as she looked up at Tyler, before she ate another piece of cheese. She then began to cut up some meat, and take small bites from that. All of it tasted delicious.
"Well this is the only alcoholic drink that I've ever had really. I don't know many others" she whispered softly as she took another sip from her drink and set it down. Her eyes wondered over to the fire and she let out another soft sigh.
Rain thought about what he said. "In time. So you are planning on asking me again. What a shame, if it where the same answer. Maybe you should give up" she said softly and looked down at her plate, before she took another bite.

"I am sure that there are plenty of guys out there that are just waiting for you to just notice them. Heck, they have probably already changed for you and you just haven't even noticed," Tyler said with a nod as he picked up a grape and put it in his mouth.
"The only one you have ever had?" Tyler said a bit startled. "I will definately have to change that. We can't have you just drinking one type of drink. There are so many wonderful alcoholic drinks out there that I know you would love. We will have to get you to try different ones.'
Tyler nodded as he listened to Rain talk. He knew that she would changer her mind in time, it would just take a little longer than he might hope. She wouldn't keep turning him down; the thought of it would make her come to him eventually.
"I never give up," Tyler said with a small nod. "I get what I want eventually."

"There is only one slytherin that I will ever date, but he likes someone else right now. He hasn't noticed me much, but he has been nice to me, which should count for something, but sometimes I feel as though he would be with someone else than me. Maybe I should change" she whispered softly, before she popped a grape in her mouth.
Rain looked up at Tyler as he talked about what she should have. "Well I don't know. I don't want to get...drunk you know..." she said softly, before her eyes shifted to the fire. When she had spoken earlier about the boy who she liked, she was talking about Tyler. She was seeing that she was beginning to like him a lot more, but she couldn't do that. She couldn't say yes just yet.
She hoped she could turn him down at least three more times before she gave in, but if it was day after day, it would be a lot easier for her to turn him down. She wondered what he was going to do.
"How long did it take for you to get what you wanted truly?" she asked softly, curious.

"You should never change for any guy," Tyler said as he looked at her. He was completely serious. "If a guy does not recognize you for you then he is not worth it. If he can't see the beautiful person that you are he does not deserve you. You are perfect as you are."
"Don't want to get drunk?" Tyler asekd as he raised an eyebrow. "Do you not want to do something you regret? That is all the fun of getting drunk. It is a time when you do things that you would never really do if you were sober. It lets you do things that you have really been wanting to do, but never had the guts to do."
"How long does it take me to get what I want?" Tyler asked as he thought about that. It all really depended on what he was trying to gain. If it was a girl it was all very unpredictable. Sometimes it was an hour or a day and other times it could take a week or longer.
"Well, what kind of thing would I be trying to get, hypothetically of course," Tyler said as he looked at Rain and ate another grape.
