Rain's eyes quickly trailed over to Tyler as he spoke about not changing for any guy. Well he did say that she was pretty...or something like that...so maybe she didn't have to change at all. "I mean, I'm not saying that he hasn't noticed me. He has, and he even asked if we could hang out...but it was the day that he had another date, and so I turned him down. I've never liked guys who do something like that" she whispered softly.
This was more and more of her talking about him. Thats when her ind clicked on the being drunk. "Yes well I know where you are getting at, but I really don't want to do anything I regret. At least not yet. Maybe in two months" she nodded and let out a soft giggle.
"What has been your longest you had to wait?" she asked again curious. Maybe she could beat that record. Somehow she rather doubted it, but it was worth a shot.
"Well you did mention a girl. That would be one. How about...a broom, or a pet...or something you much desired" she replied, her eyes on him once more as she ate another grape.

"Oh, I see," Tyler said as she nodded. "So he asked you to hang out when he had another date with a girl the same night. He sounds a lot like me. Maybe you should introduce me to him some time," Tyler said, not realizing that Rain was talking about him.
"Two months?" Tyler said as he raised an eyebrow. "I have to wait two moths to get you drunk? Aw. That sucks. I was hoping for tonight to get you drunk."
"For a girl I have had to wait anywhere from two minutes to two weeks," Tyler said with a nod. "But that was just because the girl had some issues with her boyfriend and was trying to find time to get away from him."
"As for soemthing I desired," Tyler said as he thought back. "I have never had to wait to terribly long. My parentshave always given my brother, sister, and I everything we wanted the moment we wanted it."

"Well in fact he asked me today, an hour before dinner, but i had to run off. He still probably doesn't know why I did it." She shrugged lightly. "And I think you already know him." she nodded softly.
"Oh no. You are not going to get me drunk today. No Tyler. Two months" she replied and smiled brightly. No way was she planning on getting drunk today.
"Are you kidding me. Tyler?" she asked and her eyes narrowed. She put her plate down and stood up. "Thank you for the wonderful meal, but i think i feel sick now. Thank you" she turned and began to walk toward the dorms.
She rolled her eyes angrily as she went toward the dorms. What he said to her really got her pissed off.

"What did I say?" Tyler asked as he looked over at Rain who was storming off toward her dorm.
He didn't know what he said to offend her. She just all the sudden got up and decided that she had to leave. Had he really offended her that badly? Oh, he didn't know. He shrugged it off and looked down at the food on the ground.
What a waste. They hadn't even gotten to the dessert. Maybe he would stop by her dorm later and give ti to her as an appology gift. He didn't want her mad at him now did he? What was he saying? Why did he care if a girl was mad at him or not? He was Tyler Vincent; he could have any girl he wanted.
"That's right," Tyler said as he started to pick up the food and put it in the picnic basket.

Rain went up to her dorm and was going to slam the door closed, but that would wake up everyone. She closed it slowly and softly before she went to her bed. She changed into her jammy's, before she sat at the window. She wrapped a blanket around her and sighed.
How could he be such a jerk. How could she have not seen through it. She cursed to herself lightly, before she sighed again. She figured this was going to happen. "I hate him. I hate his guts" she hissed lightly, before she wrapped herself up more in her blankets and went to sleep. She was no longer hungry.
That was a lie. She was starving. She didn't eat as much as she had wanted too, and she wanted to finish her glass of fire whiskey. Rain sat there for a few seconds wondering if he was going to leave the basket there.

Once Tyler finished packing up then picnic basket. He sighed and carried it to his dorm. When he got inside the dorm he didn't bother to get changed into pajamas. He knew he wouldn't be going to sleep anytime soon.
Hours passed and Tyler was still wide awake, wondering how he could make it up to Rain. He sighed as he looked around his dorm. Everyone was asleep and a few of the beds were empty from students that hadn't come to bed yet. He thought for a moment then stood up.
Tyler walked over to the picnic basket and took out all the food that wasn't a dessert. He picked up the basket along with the bottle of firewhiskey and left his dorm. He walked over to the girl's dorm and knocked quietly on the door, hoping that Rain was still awake.

Rain grumbled softly as she listened to her stomach grumble. She stared out the window unable to get some sleep. She closed her eyes as she tried to get some sleep.
When a few hours passed by, she was wide away, unable to get any as she had hoped. Her stomach growled louder. She hit her stomach in hoping that it would stop but it growled louder.
A knock on the door caused her eyes to trail over to the door. She stood up slowly and wrapped the blanket tightly around her. She slowly walked over and opened it slowly.
She stared up at Tyler, shocked. She hadn't expected Tyler to be there. Soon she regained her shockness. "What do you want?" she asked.

Tyler stood at the door, hoping that it would open. He also hoped that Rain would be the one to open it. He was just about to turn and walk away when he heard the door knob turning and the door finally opned. Rain stood in the doorway lookign at him a bit shocked.
"Um, well..." Tyler said as he looked at her. His mind had gone blank seeing her. This never happened. He had everything all thought out. what happened? "We never had dessert."
Tyler finally was able to spit it out. He smiled at Rain and held up the picnic basket and the bottle of fire whiskey. He hoped that she would forgive him, but somethign in the back of his mind told him that it would take her quite a while to forgive him for what he did.

Rain stared up at Tyler before she saw what he was holding. It was a picnic box and some fire whiskey. She bit her lip, before she turned around. "Go away Tyler. I'm not hungry" she replied, but her stomach spoke other wise. She cursed in her head, before she looked down at the ground.
Rain thought about all her possibilities, before she turned back around. "Tyler, go away. I don't want to talk to you" she replied before she went for the door and closed it. She craved for the food, but she stopped herself in her hunger and closed the door.
She leaned against the door and let out a soft sigh.

"It sounds to me like you are hungry," Tyler said as Rain shut the door in his face.
This was all new to Tyler. He had never tried to get a girl to like him before and he had never tried to appologize to a girl for sayign something that offended her. For some reason he knew he wanted to appologize to Rain; something told him that he needed to. Tyler set down the picnic basket and the fire whiskey and put his forehead on the door. He could hear Rain leaning agaist the other side of the door.
"Rain, listen to me. This is not something that I usually do," Tyler said and paused. "I am really sorry for anything that I said that might have offended you. I don't know what it is, but when I am around you I just feel like I can open up a whole lot more. You aren't like any other girl that I have met."

Rain was about to walk away from the door but when Tyler spoke she stopped to listen. She listened closely to what he was saying. She bit her lip and she blushed deeply. Her heart skipped a beat. Her hand went over to the knob but she dropped her hand.
"Tyler...i don't know what it is...but i feel that i can open to you as well...but what you say, sometimes get me mad. I'm sorry...that i stormed off" she said softly and closed her eyes.
Her hand went to the knob again, before she opened the door slowly and looked up at him. She bit her lip, a blush still on her cheeks.

Tyler started to back away from the door as he finished talking, but stopped when Rain started to talk. A smile came to Tyler's face as he heard her appologize as well. He stood there, waiting to see what would happen next. Would she open the door? Would she just walk away and leave him standing here?
Tyler's question was soon answered when the door opened and Rain stood in the doorway. Tyler wanted to walk over to her and swoop her up in his arms, but for some reason he held back. He didn't want to hurt her again. This was so odd for him; he had never felt this way about a girl before.
"Rain, I am really, really sorry. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me," Tyler said as he stepped toward Rain and put hsi hand on her cheek. "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met and I don't want to ever lose you."
After looking at Rain for a few minutes Tyler spoke again. "I am sorry if this is a bit forward, but..." he said trailing off as he leaned down and kissed Rain softly on the lips. He pulled back and looked at her, waiting to see her reaction.

Rain stared up at him. She had noticed that he was going to leave. She wanted to run over and just rest her head in his chest but she held that longing back in her mind, but she stepped out of the room, and closed the door behind her.
She gulped softly as she watched him. She didn't know what he would do next. Rain had never felt, this longing ever before for a boy. This was new to her as well. She had never liked a boy this way.
"I'm sorry as well. And I do forgive you Tyler" she said softly, before she blushed even more when she felt his hand on her cheek. It felt...natural some how. She liked it.
When Rain heard those words she wondered what he was going to do. What he did next shocked her. Rain stood there frozen with that kiss. She almost fainted when he pulled back, but she regained her posture slightly. "W...Wow..." she whispered, a hand going up to her lips.

"I forgive you as well. You had every right to act the way you did," Tyler siad as he looked down at Rain. He chuckled when he heard her reaction to the kiss. "That is definately a new one. I have never been wowed before after a kiss."
Tyler smiled and Rain and took her in his arms. He never wanted to let go. She felt so perfect in his arms. It was like they were meant for each other. In some odd sense there was something that told him that she was the perfect girl for him. Tyler smiled at that thought and kissed the top of her head.
"So what do you say about that dessert?" He asked as he looked down at her and into her beautiful eyes.

"You've never been wowed? Why not?" she asked softly, as she looked up at him, before she rested her head on his chest when he took her in his arms. It felt perfect. She could fall asleep in his arms but her stomach grumbled once more.
"I think desert sounds very, fine at this moment" she smiled and let out a soft giggle. This time she was going to admit defeat to her stomach. Rain looked up at Tyler and smiled brightly, before she leaned up and kissed him softly, before she pulled away.
She let out a soft giggle. "There now we are even." she nodded.
