"Like it would make a big difference if they came after me," Teirra said quietly to herself.
She nodded as she listened to Forest. She was glad that he trusted her enough to tell her all of this. She just wished that she knew him well enough to not keep him in the dark about her. Part of her wanted to tell him everything, but the rest of her told her that Tyler and Todd would kill her if she did.
"I can't say," Teirra said and looked away from him.
It was killing her not to be able to tell him. She wanted to tell him so bad, but what would he think? Would he treat her like her brothers and everyone else that knew did? Would he treat her the way she wanted to be treated? How was she to know?

Forest listened to her and caught the whisper and his eyebrow raised. "Why would you not care?" he asked softly. It was eating at him that she wasn't telling him this. He really wanted to know.
But he didn't want to push her so he didn't ask much anymore. When he heard the other part he sighed. "Thats okay. You don't have to tell me" he whispered, before he turned around and stared down at the ground.
His mind went blank momentarily, before it was filled with thoughts that he just pushed away.

Teirra opened her mouth to say something, but decided against it and shut her mouth. She knew that nothign she could say right now would help him understand anymore than he didn't right now.
"I'm sorry, I just can't tell you right now," Teirra said with soft eyes as she looked at him. "I want to tell you, I really do, but I can't."
Teirra felt like she was going to cry. She hated having to hold things back from other people. She wanted to be able to put everything in the open, but she knew it would not be right to put all of that on him. Her family already carried her burden. He didn't need to as well.
"What is it that you are going to ask of Tyler?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

"No its okay. Don't worry about it. I know that in due time, i will know" he smiled softly and looked over at her. "I don't need to know now" he replied, before he sighed softly.
"I was going to ask if he could watch over her for the summer. She can't come with me, and we have no other family that she can stay with, and she can't stay here either." he said and sighed again.
His eyes then trailed back to the ground, and then to the lake before he closed his eyes. "If he can't, i think i can place her in a home where she will be protected but that would be our last resort move.

"I'm sure Tyler would love to have Rain all to himself for the summer," Teirra said as she looked at Forest.
She knew in fact that Tyler would love it. He cared for Rain so much. That made Teirra smile. She loved that her brother was happy. He deserved it. He deserved to have someone to love. He had definately earned it.
"Mum and Dad would probably like it too. They have been dieing to meet Rain since Tyler told them about her," Teirra said as she looked at Forest. "Tyler's never been this serious about a girl before. Rain is a lucky girl. It's not every day that Tyler decides that he is going to stick to just one girl."
Teirra let out a soft sigh. She loved her brother so much. She envied what he had, knowing that she would never have that. That thought brought a single tear to Teirra's eye and she looked away from Forest and wipped it away.

Forest turned toward her. "Really. Thats wonderful" he smiled brightly. "Thank you so much" he hugged her tightly, before he felt a blush and just realized what he did.
Forest pulled back and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry Teirra" he whispered as he looked away. He was blushing a lot now. When he had hugged her, he felt, like a connection. A spark.
Forest looked down toward the lake again, the blush still on his cheeks.

"Your welcome," Teirra said as she was hugged by Forest.
When he let go of her she smiled and bit her lip. What was she supposed to say to him? When he hugged her she felt...something. It was strange, but at the same time, wonderful. She shook the thought out of her head and told Forest that it was fine.
"When you go to America," Teirra said softly. "be careful. I know Rain wouldn't like it if her brother got hurt."
Teirra wanted to say that she wouldn't like it either, but now wasn't the time to say such a thing. Besides she shouldn't be gettign attached to him. She couldn't. It wouldn't be fair to him. No. She couldn't get attached to anyone.

Forest looked over at Teirra and smiled softly before he looked out at the lake once more. His heart was beating heavily now, but he tried to ignore it. It wasn't very easy to ignore a feeling like that.
"I know, i will be careful. I promise" he told her and smiled softly. He was definitely going to be careful for his sisters sake, and for anyone else that he cared about, or who cared about him. Forest was beginning to care about more of Teirra, but he didn't say it out loud.
"Thank you for keeping me company Teirra" he whispered softly.

"You better be," Teirra said as she looked at Forest, then looked away.
She bit her lip as she looked back up at the stars. She knew it was getting late and that she should probably leave so she could get herself some sleep. She needed some sleep since she had stayed up later than normal. Teirra lowered her gaze back onto Forest.
"Well, I think I am going to head off to bed," Teirra said as she smiled at Forest. "I am glad that you were out here to keep me company as well. Maybe we can meet up somewhere tomorrow and hang out or something."
Teirra hoped that he would want to hang out with her tomorrow, but she was ready for him to say no. A lot of people didn't care to hang out with her sometimes and she had grown accustomed to being told no. It was jsut another part of her life and she would just figure out something else to do.

Forest cracked a smile, as he looked down at her. He was about to take her hand but when she said that she was going to go off to bed, he hid his hand and his eyes went over to the lake. "Oh i see" he whispered as he sighed softly. Was he ever going to see her again?
When she asked if he wanted to hang out, his smile brightened. "Of course i would love to hang out" he said softly as he looked over to her. He was over joyed to hear that she wanted to hang out with him.

"Good," Teirra said as she smiled at Forest.
Teirra started to walk away. She reached the enterance to the Astronomy Tower and stopped. She turned around and leaned against the door jam for a moment as she thought. She looked at Forest and bit her lip. She was starting to care about him and she couldn't do that.
"Forest," she said and waited for him to turn before she continued speaking. "You have to promise me something though..."
Teirra paused as she looked at Forest. She wanted to tell him that she cared avour him, but she couldn't do that. She couldn't put that on his shoulders. He had Rain to worry about. He didn't need her to worry about either. Rain was all he needed to worry about.
"You have to promise that you won't fall in love with me," Teirra said then turned to leave.
------ ((You can choose where they meet up.))

As Forest watched her go he bit his lip. She had said alright but he didn't have a place in mind that they could meet. They could meet on the tower, but that seemed kinda silly for a second meeting.
When she said his name he turned toward her. "What is it Teirra?" he asked as he looked over at her. He could still see her through the moonlight. He wondered what he would have to promise.
When she said that he had to promise to never fall in love with her, he couldn't do that. He was already in love with her. Of course he didn't want to tell her this now, because he had to promise. He bit his lip even more as he watched her go, frustrated now.

Teirra turned on her heal and started to walk away before she noticed that she had forgotten something. They had forgotten to say where to meet up. Teirra thought for a moment before she turned back around and looked at Forest.
"How about we meet by the lake tomorrow after breakfast?" she asked and smiled then turned.
Teirra listened for his answer as she started to walk down the stairs. When she was halfway down she heard his answer and smiled to herself before she left the Astronomy Tower completely.
---The next day---
Teirra made her way to the Great Hall for breakfast. She entered it and sat down at the long Gryffindor table. Breakfast had just begun. There were so many delicious foods on the table that Teirra couldn't wait to get her hands on. She filled her plate up and started to eat.
After she was finished she got up from the table and walked out of the Great Hall. She pushed her way through the students that crowded the Entrance Hall and walked out the great Oak doors. Once outside she started toward the lake where she had told Forest that she was going to meet him.

As he watched her go, Forest slid down to the ground. He was too frustrated to move at the moment. Just the thought of what she said going through his mind, was there now. Forest closed his eyes and before he knew it, he fell asleep up at the tower.
---Next day---
He wasn't sure what time it was when he woke up, but he didn't feel like getting up, until he remembered that he was going to meet Teirra. He got up slowly and rubbed his eyes before he looked down. He looked terrible. And he figured it might have rained that night, a little after he fell asleep.
This just made him even more frustrated, but he saw past that part and ran toward the door and down the stairs. He would just skip breakfast. That way he would have enough time to take a shower and get dressed, before he would meet up with her.
When he finally got to the slytherin common room, he said the password, ran in and up to the boys dorm, before he closed the door, stripped, before he took a shower. It was quick but it felt good.
When he was done, he changed clothes, fixed his hair, and ran out of the dorm and the common room hoping he wasn't late. Passing the great hall doors, he ran out of the entrance door and down to the lake, not stopping.

Teirra smiled as she took in a deep breath of the fresh air that was all aroudn her. The gorunds were so green and beautiful today. It must have rain over the nigh after she had left the Astronomy Tower. Teirra shrugged slightly to herself and made her way to a tree on the side of the lake.
She sat down and leaned back against the trunk of the tree as she waited for Forest. She hadn't seen him at breakfast sitting at the Slytherin table, but she had just figured that maybe he hadn't been hungry or something. Oh well, she knew that he would show up to meet her though.
Teirra closed her eyes and let out a soft sigh. She couldn't stop thinking aobut what she had made Forest promise. it wasn't fair to him to ever like her. She couldn't let him do that even if she cared about him. She would just have to push those feelings aside.
